INSURANCES

Our office accepts most major insurance plans, although, there are some insurance plans with which our practice does not participate. Information provided by your insurer through written "provider listings" or the internet may not always reflect he most current provider information. You are encouraged to contact your insurance company prior to treatment to determine if your visit will be covered.

For your convenience, we will complete and submit all claim forms as required by your insurance company. If your insurance pays benefits directly to East County Urgent Care, you will not receive a statement until we have received payment from your insurance company - and then, only for any remaining balances. You will not receive a statement if the insurance payments result in a zero balance.

Please note, our fees are not always the same as the amounts reimbursed by all insurance plans. We cannot accept full responsibility for collecting all insurance monies, or negotiating the settlement of disputed claims.

Remember, your health insurance policy is a contract between you, the policyholder, and the insurance company. Health insurance dose not relieve the patient of financial responsibility for services received.
