Qualitative Fit Testing
The qualitative fit test procedure will require about 15 to 20 minutes to administer. Qualitative fit testing can be used for either half-face and also full-face negative pressure air-purifying respirators. These must achieve a fit factor of 100 or less. The respirators are to be worn in work areas where it is certain that concentrations of a contaminant will not be more than 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL).
A FIT TEST CARD is provided for every test.
Medical Evaluation and PFT
We have NIOSH certified technicians that use the latest digital spirometers. These will provide fast and accurate pulmonary function tests.
Medical Evaluations and PFTs will require 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Our questionnaire helps us establish the worker’s clearance level for using a respirator as required by OSHA. The questionnaire is available on our website and can be filled out ahead of time to save time at the office.
